Usman (20-1 MMA, 15-0 UFC) and Edwards (18-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) exchanged insults about a lot of things - quite a bit of which didn't have anything to do with this end of the week's battle inside the octagon for the welterweight title.

Edwards has over and over blamed Usman for turning out to be a little too confident as he's turned into a more effective and a greater star in the game.

"Talk will be discussion," Usman told correspondents, including MMA Junkie. "There's one thing that got me here, and that is my hard working attitude. Achievement just drives me to work much harder. On the off chance that they believe I'm slipping, being a terrible night for him is going."

"It's not private for me," Edwards said. "I accept I am No. 1. I'm on a mission to demonstrate it. He's a little while ago wearing a shirt and quitting for the day shirt. It's great overall."

Usman said he's not especially annoyed by Edwards' suggestions and said everything originates from the challenger needing what the boss has.

"Assuming that you seemed as though me, you would dress like this as well," Usman said. "It's simply envy. You seem as though me, you would dress like me as well."
